TYSL Training Models 

Here's a number of references that will help with following our methodology for a more effective and consistent training session. 

Training sessions should follow a progressive format that builds upon itself through the day. It will include the following:

- Warm-up for approximately 10-12 minutes

Exercise #1  for approximately 15-20 minutes

Exercise # 2 for approximately. 15-20 minutes. This will be a small sided progression. 

Final Scrimmage for approximately 30-40 minutes.


For the Under 6 (U6) coaches, here are a few sample things to incorporate into your session with the children. 

Suitable for ages U6 - U8

Focus Area: Small Group Defending - Body Positioning, Sliding, Blocks

Suitable for U12 and Older

Focus Area: Attacking from the Flanks
